Autumn artists retreat at le maison ocre Deadline: 20 Aug 2026 Country: France A specifically designed artists house, part of la maison Ocre which is made available to creators at a subsidised rate.The house can accomodate a family, partners or a small group. The facilities include basic recording equipment, easels and other tools for the artist. Bicycles are also avilable to visit the wonderful local countryside. Duration of residency Artistes may choose a one or two week period. Accommodation The artists have use of the entire house and a nearby garden. The independent building comprises two large studio areas, on the first floor are two bedrooms with private bathrooms that can accommodate up to four people. At Maison Ocre, just a few meters away, we can supplement your occasional or pre-arranged needs with two additional bedrooms, a large room, and meals; we can also help out in case you forget something… Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Authors, Painters, sculpters, photographers and film makers and theater, in which the house can provide most basic material requirements on request.Studio / Workspace There is a bright 40m2 studio on the ground floor with two entrances, a toilet, and a sink, along with a kitchenette. Upstairs, a 30m² mezzanine can serve as a small conference room, computer room, or lounge. Both areas are equipped to accommodate painters, musicians, sculptors, writers…Fees and support The price of the rental is 350€ per week. Expectations towards the artist There are no expectations towards the artist. We have an exhibition/concert hall available that can accomodate up to 50 people , if the artist wishes to present his work to his personel circle after his stay.
