Bursaries for Tipperary Dance Festival Pro-sessions 2026 Jul 12, 2026 | Funding/Scholarships , Open Calls Tipperary Dance offers bursaries to attend the Tipperary Dance Festival Pro-sessions programme 2026. Where: Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Ireland When: 7-10 October 2026 Deadline for applications: 14/08/2026 at 6pm Tipperary Dance offers a series of bursaries to facilitate your participation in the Tipperary Dance Festival Pro- sessions programme, and to immerse yourself in one of Ireland’s longest-running and most exciting dance festivals. Tipperary Dance Festival Pro-sessions will give you time and space to focus on your artistic development, join artists from around the world, deepen your practice, experiment and exchange ideas collectively. To offer an opportunity that is more focused on artistic practice rather than on training, Tipperary Dance Masterclasses have become Tipperary Dance Pro-sessions. Each one of the seven Pro-sessions is a collective, experiential encounter. An opportunity for dancers to practice together as a group, by experimenting with the idiosyncratic vision and creative tools proposed by one of the festival artists. The participants will also attend the Festival Forum. Our mentor artists include: Wanjiru Kamuyu (France, USA) Murielle Elizéon (Culture Mill, USA) Alexandre Iseli (Tipperary Dance, Ireland) Reinaldo Ribeiro (Spain/Brazil) Marxtel Rodríguez (Led Silhouette, Spain) Conditions Included in the bursary: self-catering accommodation (bedrooms may be shared with another person). Free access to the entire Pro-sessions programme. Transport between studio and accommodation where necessary. We also provide free transport to attend all shows and events at the festival. Not included in the bursary: travel to Thurles and tickets for the festival shows. To apply you must be a professional dance artist aged 18 or over. While most bursaries are for Ireland- based artists, one or two bursaries will be allocated to artists from outside Ireland. If you live outside Ireland, please ensure before applying that you can meet any visa requirements to enter the Republic of Ireland: to apply you need to have EU citizenship, or citizenship from a country that grants free circulation in Ireland, or a valid visa to enter Ireland.
