Hub Feenix Digital Nomads Aug-Dec 2026 Deadline: 14 Aug 2026 Country: Finland Hub Feenix Residency The new non-profit center for creativity and well-being Hub Feenix has an inspiring artist residency program, that has now been running for 3 years. In 2023 19, in 2024 38 and in 2025 50 artists from all continents have enjoyed working and recharging at Hub Feenix. And the answer is YES, we welcome digital nomads too! Focus on your work in an inspiring and uplifting environment. Enjoy stillness, nature and inspiring atmosphere in a beautiful old sanitarium in the middle of nature! Concentration, refreshment and renewal: The former Meltola sanitarium, with its beautiful premises, has undergone a transformation into an inspiring community center. Hub Feenix offers a harmonious, beautiful and inspiring working environment. Here you experience the stillness and beauty of nature and the possibility to deeply concentrate on your work, but in the same time you can also enjoy meeting lots of new wonderful people from all around the world. The house has wide opportunities for collaboration and learning new skills. Hub Feenix is full of spaces where the senses delight and the spirit is lifted. Therefore, a stay at Hub Feenix can be both productive and in the same time bring new vitality, inspiration and recreation. The peace and beauty of nature: Hub Feenix is located in the middle of beautiful nature. After walking less than 15 minutes through the forest and across the fields along beautiful little roads, you will reach a lake where you can go swimming in the summertime. You can go for walks, bicycle and in the wintertime it´s possible to go cross-country skiing on the forest trails. In the late summer and autumn the forests around Hub Feenix are full of berries and mushrooms to pick. Other possibilities: Wooden sauna in the peaceful back garden of Hub Feenix is heated about once a week, and everybody staying in Hub Feenix is welcome to join (we all wear swimsuits). The gym and the music room are available to use. The house hosts various dance and music events and festivals, in which it´s possible to participate. Some are free, some have a participating fee. There are plenty of interesting places nearby to explore, such as the artist village Fiskars (where the scissors are from!), the charming little town of Tammisaari and the castles of Mustio and Raasepori. Duration of residency 1-3 months Accommodation At Hub Feenix, you can enjoy a comfortable and affordable accommodation with all the facilities you need. The nomads stay in their own lovely wing in about 15m2 private bedrooms and share the kitchen, bathroom, shower facilities, cosy living room and lounge. There´s also a washing machine in the nomad wing.In addition, the building has several inviting and inspiring shared spaces, lounges and a co-working space. You can red more about accommodation here: https://nomads.feenix.community/facilities Disciplines, work equipment and assistance The nomads have access to our well-equipped and cosy co-working space. If you like to get creative, you can rent an artist studio, do ceramics, woodwork, metal work, sewing, 3D-printing, or use a sound recording studio, for a small extra fee. There´s a gym, a climbing wall, a music room in your use within the building, and bicycles to borrow. There´s also a possibility to use a shared car.Studio / Workspace The nomads have access to a cosy and practical co-working space. If you need more space, we offer small and large private offices for rent, providing you with the quiet and independence needed for your work. In addition, the building has several inviting lobbies, terraces and lounges where it can be nice to do quiet work.Fees and support The nomad accommodation fees for 2026 and 2027: – Single bedroom 650€/a month – Double bedroom 850€/a month Expectations towards the artist We expect the residents to keep the common spaces in the nomad wing (kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces) tidy, so that everyone can enjoy this very special time together. We also expect the residents to clean their bedroom and their part of the common spaces before leaving. Hub Feenix is a vegetarian house, so no other food is allowed inside the building. In Hub Feenix we observe low alcohol consumption and the house is substance free.
