Where: Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Ireland When: Academic year 2026/27 Deadline for applications: Applications for the course are open until 21 August 2026 The MA Contemporary Dance Performance at the University of Limerick has partnered with Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company to offer up to two company placements starting in September 2026. This unique opportunity allows MA students to spend up to one semester embedded with the company, integrating professional experience into their postgraduate studies. The MA in Contemporary Dance Performance is a one-year, full-time program designed for dance artists seeking an immersive, studio-based exploration of performance, choreography, and creative practice. Students engage in workshops, masterclasses, ensemble choreographies, solo-making, Screendance, and more—while building industry connections through collaborations with professional companies and festivals.
