A bio-restored 14th-century tower house beneath La Higa mountain in Navarra, held within 400 hectares of forest, meadow, and stream. Sustained by solar energy and rainwater. Space · Time · Matter. An artist-run residency with a 119 m² shared studio, outdoor workspace, 5 bedrooms, and 3 shared kitchens — an invitation to let the place genuinely shape the work, in method, material, and rhythm. Who can apply: Artists working in visual art, performance, moving image, installation, ceramics, textile, sound, or interdisciplinary practices with a genuine dialogue with nature. It is an opportunity to slowness, uncertainty, and the productive disorientation of an unfamiliar place. Particular interest in: Artists using natural pigments, dyes, fibres, wax, clay, resin Land artists and site-specific practitioners Artistic and scientific researchers of the local ecology Audiovisual artists from the forest-body-matter tradition Art therapy practitioners What you get: Funding Model Self-funded international artists: €1,100 - €2,000 for 2 weeks (invitation letters provided) European and Spanish-based artists: Possible Funding via AC/E PICE Residency Programme and Culture Moves Europe What We Offer 2 weeks in a bio-restored 15th-century tower house Private and shared bedrooms (up to 8 artists total) Access to 119m² shared studio, 1 outdoor deck and 4 living rooms Forest, meadow, and stream access Optional Natural dye workshop with Isabel Moltó Optional Insight Art sessions with Eliana Perinat Optional Mentorship sessions Documentation process, shared books and texts Invitation letter for Culture Moves Europe and other grants.
