Black Itinerant Library Collaboration just added Updated: 06 August 2026 Collaboration just added Black Itinerant Library Updated: 06 August 2026 Black Itinerant Library is a living, travelling library debuting in London as part of artist and filmmaker Luna Mahoux's residency at House Work Present, funded by Kunsthaus Glarus in collaboration with Black Obsidian Sound System (B.O.S.S.). The library centers overlooked Black archives, travelling globally to grow through community contributions. The archive is intentionally broad, accepting any media preserving Black histories, cultures, and memories. Everyone is welcome to contribute and build this living collection. Who can apply: Anyone What you get: Submitted materials will be publicly displayed in London at House Work Presents and Common Press Dalston. As a participatory community archive project, there is no monetary compensation, studio space, sales support, or formal mentoring—the primary offering is public presentation, archival preservation, and community engagement.
