HAP Studio Programme 2027–2031 Artist in Residence just added Updated: 01 October 2026 Artist in Residence just added HAP Studio Programme 2027–2031 Updated: 01 October 2026 A four-year studio programme supporting emerging artists in Hesse with free workspace, mentoring, professional development, networking and opportunities for international residencies. Four places are available for the 2027–2031 programme. Who can apply: Artists born in 1987 or later with a relevant university degree who are no longer enrolled and will have their main residence in Hesse when the programme begins. Artist groups and collectives may also apply. What you get: A free studio at basis e.V. for four years, professional mentoring and networking, access to basis facilities and exhibition spaces, and opportunities for funded international residencies of up to 12 months during the programme.
