Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of OpenCall Guru at opencall.guru. References to we and the administration mean the administration of the OpenCall Guru service. Our contact details are at the end of this document.
1. Accepting the terms
You accept these terms by selecting the relevant checkbox when registering. The Privacy Policy separately describes data processing. Accepting these terms does not provide consent to optional analytics or promotional email.
Use the service only if you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the law applicable to you. Obtain the permission of a legal representative before registering where required.
2. What the service provides
OpenCall Guru helps you discover competitions, grants, residencies and other opportunities, save them, and maintain a profile and portfolio. Available features may change.
We collect information from external sources and may process it automatically, including with AI. Information may contain errors or become outdated. Before applying, verify deadlines, fees, eligibility and other conditions with the organizer.
We are not the organizer of listed opportunities, do not make selection decisions and do not guarantee funding, participation or any other outcome. Your relationship with an organizer is governed by its own terms.
3. Accounts and security
Provide an email address you are entitled to use. Sign-in is confirmed through an email link. Do not share sign-in links, sessions or access keys with unauthorized people. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for actions performed through access you provide, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you connect a software or AI agent, select the permissions it needs and revoke access when it is no longer needed.
4. Content and intellectual property
Rights in your works, text and other materials remain with you or the relevant rights holders. Submit only content you are entitled to use and respect other people's rights and privacy.
You grant us a non-exclusive permission to store, technically process and display your submitted materials as necessary to provide the features you choose. This does not transfer copyright or authorize advertising use of your work without a separate agreement.
Content from external sites and organizers belongs to its respective rights holders. Inclusion in the directory does not grant users additional rights to reuse it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not send spam, create fake accounts in bulk, bypass bot checks or rate limits, attempt to access other people's data, distribute malware, disrupt the service or violate applicable law.
Automated access is allowed through the interfaces provided by the service, within the permissions granted and the applicable limits.
6. Availability and limitations
The service is provided as available. Features may change and maintenance or interruptions may occur. Keep your own copies of important materials and verify information before making decisions involving costs or deadlines.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for third-party organizers' decisions or actions, external websites, or consequences of relying on unverified information. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
7. Ending use and contacting us
You may stop using the service and request account deletion through the contact below. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and retention following a request.
We may restrict access for violations of these terms, security threats or legal requirements. Where possible, we will explain the reason and allow you to request a review. For content or rights complaints, include the relevant link and describe the issue.
8. Changes and applicable rights
The current version and its date are published on this page. We communicate material changes through the interface or by email and request new acceptance separately when required. New terms do not apply retroactively to existing claims.
Mandatory applicable law continues to apply. These terms do not impose an exclusive court, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of legal remedies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
