As the exchange becomes increasingly insistent, Caroubi’s position shifts between participation, observation, and care. The film treats Roblox as a documentary space where childhood play, online exposure, gendered pressure, and familial protection collide without ever resolving into a simple moral lesson. Célia Caroubi is a French filmmaker and video artist whose work examines identity construction, family relations, childhood, and digital encounters. After studying cinema and management at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, she joined INSAS in Belgium to study film and radio directing. Her works include Clic Kaboom (2022), ChatS/Z (2025), and the RTBF docu-fiction podcast Mon Carnet Secret. She is a member of ArTeC Graduate School for Research, where she is developing a research-creation project on digital encounters.
