MEDEA — Open Call for Texas Artists Exhibition Opportunity | Promoted just added Updated: 08 September 2026 Exhibition Opportunity | Promoted just added MEDEA — Open Call for Texas Artists Updated: 08 September 2026 Kunstkammer invites artists to submit work for MEDEA, a group exhibition approaching the ancient Greek myth not as a story to be illustrated, but as a field of emotional, psychological and elemental states. We are interested in what remains when narrative is stripped away: exile, betrayal, desire, grief, vengeance, maternal force, rupture, transformation and fate. Submitted works may engage with these territories indirectly through atmosphere, gesture, landscape, material, bodily sensation, colour, surface, movement or light. Who can apply: - Texas-based artists with a minimum of three years of active artistic practice. - Eligible media are painting, sculpture, analog photography and video art. - Artists may submit an unlimited number of works. - Selected work must be available for delivery to Kunstkammer in Fort Worth by September 25, 2026. What you get: - Selected artists will participate in MEDEA, the inaugural exhibition at Kunstkammer, Artmetod’s first dedicated physical exhibition location and curatorial laboratory in Fort Worth, Texas. - Participants will receive exhibition credit, professional exhibition documentation, and inclusion in exhibition-related promotional materials, including website, social media and press communications where applicable.
