Sensing Bodies 2027 – Brazil Aug 13, 2026 | Workshops Sensing Bodies is a ten-day dance, rhythm and movement retreat/workshop, open to all who are inspired by or make their living in the realms of bodies, movement, creative process, and performing arts. Where: Gamboa, Santa Catarina, Brazil When: February 12 – 21, 2027 Deadline for applications: Registration is accepted up to 4 weeks prior to the event or until spaces are filled. Come connect, expand and transform through joy-filled dancing, sensing, listening and creating. Join us for a 10-day immersive cultural experience in the south of Brazil. We are gathering in Gamboa, a beautiful and safe seaside community near Florianópolis, Brazil to explore and share dances and rhythms. In a time of virtual experience, isolation, and thought silos, we come together – in person – with our living, breathing, moving bodies. We are here to connect, feel, sense, and expand through dance, music and nature. During our time together we actively seek connections between modalities, relationships between parts and the whole, and continuity between seemingly eclectic approaches. We experience the spaces between. This program is a training intensive, a creative process, a retreat, a confluence, and a magical meeting place.
