2027 Makers Space Experience Sep 1, 2026 | Residencies Join Keshet Dance Company & Center for the Arts in Albuquerque, NM for a ten-day residency program intended for choreographers, dancers, and movement makers of all kinds to connect, create, and collaborate at Keshet Center for the Arts. Where: Keshet Dance Company & Center for the Arts, Albuquerque, NM, USA When: 1/28/27-2/7/27 or 7/22/27-8/1/27 Deadline for applications: Applications are open September 1, 2026 to October 1, 2026 The Makers Space Experience is a ten-day cohort-based residency program intended for choreographers, dancers, and movement makers of all kinds to connect, create, and collaborate at Keshet Center for the Arts. Artists from across the country and around the world gather at Keshet for this experience as they explore, move, share, and create. This transformative residency provides choreographers, dancemakers, and movement-based multidisciplinary artists with: • Dedicated daily studio space • Collaborative movement classes led by fellow Makers and Keshet faculty • Practical arts business workshops led by experts in their fields, covering topics such as grant writing, budget reporting, and intellectual property law • Housing in Albuquerque for the duration of the residency • Performance opportunity on the Keshet stage • Photoshoot opportunity out in the southwest landscape • and of course oodles and oodles of New Mexico sunshine!
