Open Call for Mural Artists Deadline: 01 Oct 2026 Country: India Diwar Mural Painting Festival in Rural Rajasthan, India. Hosted by Hinge Arts Projects Foundation. A vibrant, community-oriented initiative to adorn plain walls in a rural village in Rajasthan. Seeking artists from diverse backgrounds to paint murals during a 5 day mini-residency / festival. Artists are welcome – but not limited – to blend Rajasthani motifs with contemporary narratives, or address local pressing issues such as trash management, water conservation, women’s empowerment, etc. Abstract or realistic, all mural design proposals are welcome. Selected artists will be informed by October 15, 2026. * Accommodation & meals provided. * Hosts will document & publish & promote your work! * New Years Eve party! Duration of residency 5 days: December 28, 2026 – January 2, 2027 Accommodation In a rural village in Rajasthan. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Mural painting. * Participant / help from volunteers in the village. * Basic acrylic paint & brushes & ladders provided.Studio / Workspace Outdoor walls.Fees and support Application fee: 750 Indian Rupees / $8 usd.
