TRANSIRE (andare-oltre) – Performing Arts Residency Sep 23, 2026 | Residencies Transire is a free residential training programme for artists aged 18 to 35 working in the field of contemporary dance, with a focus on developing artistic, creative, organisational and professional skills to support their entry into the performing arts sector. Where: La CAP Re|Hub, Sinalunga (Siena – Italy) – Settignano Theatre and Affratellamento Theatre, Florence, Italy When: November 16, 2026 – April 17, 2027 Deadline for applications: September 30, 2026 Transire is a project curated by Compagnia degli Istanti, under the artistic direction of Simona Bucci, and La CAP Re|Hub, under the artistic direction of Silvia Giordano. The project consists of a free residential training programme for artists aged 18 to 35 working in the field of contemporary dance, with a focus on developing artistic, creative, organisational and professional skills to support their entry into the performing arts sector. The open call is addressed to choreographers, dancers and makers, and includes: – Three residency sessions: 1st session: November 16 – December 2, 2026 (17 days) at La CAP Re|Hub (Sinalunga, Siena, Italy), curated by Compagnia degli Istanti. 2nd session: January 11–30, 2027 (20 days) at La CAP Re|Hub (Sinalunga, Siena, Italy), curated by La CAP Re|Hub. 3rd session: April 1–17, 2027 (17 days) at Teatro di Settignano and Teatro dell’Affratellamento (Florence, Italy), curated by Compagnia degli Istanti. – Accommodation and use of studio facilities. – A total residency grant of €1,200 (€25 net for each day of active participation). – Seminars, guided research laboratories, mentoring sessions and practical workshops focusing on choreographic language, body practices, artistic research, professional management and technical tools for stage production. – Development of a choreographic or performance project, with guidance and support from mentors and tutors.
