Open Call for LIVE-IN RESIDENCIES at Užupis Art Incubator, Vilnius (Lithuania) Deadline: 14 Oct 2026 Country: Lithuania 🛎️ Open Call for LIVE-IN RESIDENCIES AT UMI VILNELĖ Užupis Art Incubator invites Lithuanian and international artists to apply for a live-in residency at UMI Vilnelė Residency in Vilnius. Studios are offered at a discounted price. We welcome innovative creators working in the fields of visual and interdisciplinary arts who are looking for a space to live, work, develop their artistic practice, and become part of an active creative community. Priority in this open call will be given to international artists. AVAILABLE RESIDENCIES 🔸 Studio 1 | 38.23 sqm From December 1 🔸 Studio 2 | 32.51 sqm From November 3 WHAT WE OFFER 🔹 Two fully equipped live-in studios (38.23 sqm and 32.51 sqm) suitable for both living and creative work. 🔹 Each studio can accommodate one artist or a couple. 🔹 The studios are pet-friendly. 🔹 Studio rent: €360 per month + utility bills. Travel expenses are covered by the applicant. 🔹 An opportunity to become part of one of the most vibrant creative communities in the Baltics, meet fellow artists, exchange ideas, and build new professional and creative connections. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We welcome emerging and established creators working across visual and interdisciplinary fields, including painting, photography, installation, digital art, interdisciplinary practices, and projects combining art, technology, and other creative disciplines. We are particularly interested in artists who are dedicated to their practice while remaining open to collaboration, exchange, and engagement with the local creative community. During the residency, artists are encouraged to share their practice through exhibitions, workshops, open studios, talks, or other forms of public engagement. ABOUT UMI VILNELĖ RESIDENCY Spanning more than 500 sqm, UMI Vilnelė Residency is located in the historic Užupis district, in the heart of Vilnius, at Užupio St. 2. Situated on the scenic banks of the Vilnelė River, the residency brings together artists from a wide range of disciplines and provides an inspiring environment for both individual practice and creative exchange. At UMI Vilnelė Residency you will find: – 14 work studios and 2 live-in studios; – UMI Gallery, hosting regularly changing contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events; – an open-air sculpture and installation gallery in the incubator courtyard; – a vibrant community of painters, photographers, musicians, performers, ceramic artists, and interdisciplinary and digital creators; – the distinctive creative atmosphere of Užupis, a district historically associated with Vilnius’ artistic community.
