Your Residency Program in Arg! Deadline: 26 Aug 2026 Country: Argentina The Residencia Corazón – Artist in Residency (A-I-R) Program was initiated in 2006. Its main objective engenders the creation of a personalized and independent exchange among regional, national and international artists. It allows for mutual enrichment through professional and emotive approaches for new experiences and aesthetic realities. The resident / visiting artists enjoy a dynamic and vibrant time frame for working; they have a studio and living space at their disposal to complete their projects. They also network with and within the local art community, cultural institutions and the public at large. Residencia Corazón offers a complete international Artist in Residency Program. Each artist, curator or writer receives exclusive and highly-personalized support from the Residencia Corazón team. Our project is characterized by trying a close, intimate relationship with each resident, proposing that the stay transcends the artistic purpose and that their journey is printed as a learning adventure that they will treasure throughout their lives. Duration of residency 15 days onwards, artists can choose their stay. But our A.i.R. Program 1/ Spotlight Journey (with exhibition), the minimum period required is one month. Accommodation Our house is yours. With services included (wifi, cleaning, sheets-towels, heating/air, etc.) located in the center, near the bus and train station. It offers single or shared rooms. It has studios, a gallery, backyard (with barbecue of course, kitchen, etc. Our space is thoughtfully designed to offer residents a balance between comfort and creativity. With three dedicated workspaces and spacious private rooms, many artists find the freedom to work wherever they feel most inspired—even in their own room Artists can seamlessly blend their stay and creative process within the residence, enjoying an environment designed for both comfort and production. Many residents also choose to work in our city because of its particular design (streets, architecture), the diversity of locations (ease of access to buildings and institutions) and the diversity of its environment: parks, forests, La Plata River with its beaches- riverside jungles, canals, and more Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Open to emerging and established artists from all disciplines within the visual arts. It is also open to emerging and established writers & curators from all disciplines . We focus on daily contact to monitor each project, offering personalized support.Studio / Workspace Thanks to the characteristics of our house, artists can combine their stay and production within the same residence in the best conditions. Our house has 3 work spaces. Also due to its large size, many artists choose to work in their private room. Many residents also choose to work in our city because of its particular design: streets with various species of trees , architecture, the diversity of locations. Ease of access to buildings and institutions and the diversity of its environment: parks, forests, La Plata River with its beaches- riverside jungles, canals.Fees and support Fees range from USD 800 to 1,500 depending on program and length of stay. In 2026, we offer discounts for stays longer than one month, for residents who come in pairs sharing a room, and for collective projects. For artists applying to grants or scholarships in their home country, we provide official invitation letters and supporting documentation within 24 hours — an essential advantage for Culture Moves Europe, FONCA, Funarte, FONDART, and other mobility funds. Residencia Corazón has the institutional support of the National Culture Secretary, the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Town Council of La Plata, and the National University of La Plata. Expectations towards the artist Each artist, curator or writer receives exclusive and highly-personalized support from our team. We provide support for all aspects of the residency from:- assistance in navigating La Plata and its surrounds- finding local resources-curators- information about daily life as well as the local arts scene- assistance with research, production and post-production of work. 3 differents Programs: Spotlight Journey: with a solo exhibitionPrograms Immersive Journey and Writing Journey: also recommended for artist-curators-writers who wish to develop research-investigation projects or works in progress without the opportunity to exhibit.
