PCA: 20 November 2026 Seneca Intensiv is running two professional development courses this autumn for artists in the independent performing arts scene: CCA (Creation/Choreography/Authorship) and PCA (Production/Creation/Administration). CCA supports you in developing and staging your own work as a choreographer, author or maker. PCA teaches the production and administration skills to get that work, or any project, made, and connects directly to CCA: participants can choose to produce a project from that term’s CCA cohort as their case study, or bring one of their own. CCA – Creation/Choreography/Authorship 12 weeks · interdisciplinary · practice-oriented A dynamic intensive programme for artists who want to grow into their own voice as an author, choreographer or maker in the independent scene, in Berlin and beyond. You’ll build the tools, confidence and networks to develop and market your own freelance projects in the transdisciplinary, body-based performing arts. The programme covers every stage of making new work, from first concept and creative process through to the basics of managing and producing it, through a mix of practical and theoretical workshops and mentoring. PCA – Production/Creation/Administration 14 weeks · part-time · practice-based PCA is a practical grounding in production and art administration, built for artists who want to learn how to get their own work made: budgeting, funding applications, scheduling and the everyday work of running a production. It connects directly to CCA – you can choose to produce a project from that term’s CCA cohort as your working case study, or bring a project of your own. Either way, you’ll follow it from first idea through funding applications to final presentation, with regular group tutorials to guide your progress. How to apply: Both programmes 1. Register via the online form. 2. Submit your application: a CV with contact details and a short motivation letter. CCA applicants also submit a short video giving a brief insight into their work. 3. Personal interview: CCA: an online call on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Can’t make that time? You can request a different one. PCA: we’ll schedule your interview, in person or by video call, once your application is received. Remember the deadlines: CCA applications are due by 1 October 2026 (late applications may still be considered – get in touch if you miss it), and PCA applications are due by 20 November 2026.
