Where: Arambol, Goa, India When: 4 -13 January 2027 Deadline for applications: As soon as possible TRAINING GROUND GOA FELDENKRAIS & CI: Feldenkrais, Contact Improvisation and Performance by Rick Nodine Rick Nodine leads his signature approach to understanding Contact Improvisation, and improvised performance – entering the movement through Feldenkrais’s method – developing internal awareness of how movement originates, evolves and travels naturally through the body. The awareness of movement pathways inside the body extends to awareness of others and enriches observation between bodies in contact. Days 1-5 Training Ground, Days 6-8 Playground. Training Ground: Rick Nodine will lead participants through mornings of deep and gentle explorations that will open new pathways and movement possibilities with greater ease, coordination and pleasure. Afternoons will expand CI practice into a larger space of whole-group awareness & composition, with an eye towards performance. Playground: Rick and Melissa will introduce playful approaches to improvisation and participants will be free to explore their creativity with each other. Patchwork pieces of group creations will be loosely knitted together for an informal sharing on the last evening. Super-early bird registration closes on 15th August 2026.
