Winter Retreat in KuBa Kulturbahnhof (one to 3 weeks from January 7 to March 31) Deadline: 31 Dec 2026 Country: Germany The winter retreat is open for artists who are interested in a short pause from their daily routine in order to focus on their creativity and/or of a current project. For more information about the residency please check our website: KuBa website Duration of residency During this winter we are open from January 7th to March 31th 2027 for periods of minimum one week and a maximum of three weeks. Accommodation Private apartment. Each is approximately 50m2, and includes a bedroom, a study, a bathroom and a kitchen. Also include access to Internet (WLAN), a washing machine. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance painters, sculptures, new media, sound, photographers, performance artists, dancers, writers and video/film makers. Shared Facilities: Studio 55m² with basic material (paper, colors etc) wood workshop with tools (jigsaw, drill etc.), b/w printer, basic light equipment, video projector and more. Printing press for Monotype, Dry Point, Etching, Wood Cut and similar techniques, Black and white photo laboratory (only for experienced photographers).Fees and support one week – 200 euro (duo or couple 250 euro) two weeks – 350 euro (duo or couple 400 euro) three weeks – 500 euro (duo or couple 550 euro) Printing course (individual): Monotype, dry point: 100 euro Etching: 150 euro Expectations towards the artist use the time in the best creative way Application information Application is easy: send us an email to [email protected] with the subject „winter retreat“, 1. write your preferred dates. 2. add a short summery of what you would like to work on during your stay. 3. attached a portfolio or link to a professional website. we will contact you shortly to proceed the second step of a zoom talk.
