Rolling admission, subject to availability ________________________________________ The La-Storta Residency Located In an ancient building, in the heart of Venice’s historic Ghetto. La Storta is our long-running creative residency, offering an authentic Venetian atmosphere and a direct connection to the city’s daily rhythm. For more photos and information, visit the link: www.veneziacontemporanea.com/the-la-storta-exhibition-space-venice ________________________________________ About the residency The space combines a cozy live-in studio with a street-level gallery featuring a large vitrine window onto a lively campo—providing both quiet retreat with natural visibility to the public and an opportunity to sell your work ________________________________________ Overview The gallery welcomes exhibitions, open-studio events, and process-based displays. Light curatorial support is available, and artists are granted full flexibility to shape their presentations. Note: our resident cat, Campari, may grace you with his presence — the residency is therefore not suitable for individuals with cat allergies. Duration of residency Minimum stay: 2 weeks Maximum stay: 6 weeks Accommodation Artists stay in a comfortable, fully equipped studio apartment located directly behind the exhibition space. The apartment includes a sleeping area, kitchenette, dishwasher, private bathroom, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi—everything needed to live and create with ease. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Inclusive and supportive environment open to all disciplines, plenty of art materials, video projectors and more… available, and if needed 2 art supply shops nearby.Fees and support special offers for winter months: Ask us Usually Venezia Contemporanea covers 50% of €2,400 per week. Artist’s share  for living and exhibition space is 1200€ per week. Expectations towards the artist We value a warm and collaborative atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to:Focus on their creative workProvide feedback to help improve future programsArtists retain full ownership and rights to their work.
