Skogshyddan AIR Open Call Deadline: 30 Sep 2026 Country: Finland Skogshyddan Artist in residence is open to artists, cultural and social professionals and researchers. Work periods in residence is one month. The residency includes accommodation and free use of the garden, sauna and bikes and, if you wish, we can help you to reach out to local networks. The residency is ideal for creative work, research or artistic work, as well as for collaborative projects. You can also apply for a residency as a small working group. It is also possible to apply with children/family. Residency fees for the autumn 2026: 1 month 750€ Residents are selected primarily on the basis of the work plan presented in the application. Residency applications are selected by a curatorial team of professionals from different disciplines. We particularly value collaboration and interaction with other creative professionals/researchers, as well as with the local community and other actors in the region. There is totally 4 residency appartments in the building.Pls note, that the house is old, with modern facilites, but be prepared with woolen socks 🙂 Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Artists have to have their own working equipmentsStudio / Workspace There is no studio or work space available. Artists can work at their appartments.Fees and support 750€ / month + reservation fee 150€ Expectations towards the artist We particularly value collaboration and interaction with other creative professionals/researchers, as well as with the local community and other actors in the region. But we don’t require our artist to keep any workshops / events.
