Artists living within a 250-mile radius of Chagrin Falls are invited to submit artwork for consideration to this prestigious annual exhibition. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces in any art medium. Historically we have received approximately 400 pieces of artwork, including 2-D and 3-D. The art is juried to approximately 55 works in painting, drawing, fiber arts, jewelry, sculpture, photography, and more! Over $3,500 in cash is awarded for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, and several community-sponsored awards. Entry Fee: $15 a piece, up to three (3) pieces per artist Artwork in this exhibition does not need to be for sale. VAC keeps 40% commission on the selling price of all artwork that is sold. All artists are welcome to submit up to three artworks, and this year we will be selecting one piece per accepted artist in order to showcase a broader diversity of artists, mediums, and perspectives in our exhibition. select one piece per accepted artist to showcase a broader diversity of artists, media - A–Textiles - B–Glass/Enamel - C–Photography/Prints - D–Wood/Metal/Sculpture - E–Jewelry - F–Painting/Drawing - G–Ceramics - H–Other/Mixed Media Read the Terms & Conditions What you will need - At least one digital image of each art piece, up to three submissions. These must be good photographs of the actual, original art work you want to enter to potentially exhibit. We recommend 3d artists submit at least one photomosaic image for each submitted piece featuring multiple views of each submitted piece in a single image. One photo including frame is highly encouraged, if applicable. - Digital images must be saved in the JPG (JPEG) file format. - Your pictures should be no smaller than 960 pixels. - They should be no bigger than 4 Mb in file size. - Please make sure you are settled on titles, medium descriptions and prices. The way you identify yourself and your work in the submission form is what we utilize when we present your information on art labels and in program listings. Valley Art Center is not responsible for misspellings or incorrect information arising from inaccurately entered information. Entering artwork submissions After logging in or creating a new account, you will Add a new submission. You will fill out the form with Category, Title, Dimensions (height, width, and depth), Sale price (all work entered must be for sale for this exhibit), and Medium for your first artwork submission. You will then pay your entry fee and upload an Attachment that is the photo of your artwork. If you would like to enter more than one work of art, please upload and pay for each entry separately. Important Dates - Call For Artists - CFA deadline, October 2, 2026 at 11:59pm - Notification of jury results; Tuesday, October 7, 2026 by 4pm Please do not call or email VAC for results. - Artwork delivery- Thursday, October 22, 10am - 7pm - Friday, October 23, 10am – 4pm - Saturday, October 24, 10am – 2pm - Shipping—please plan for shipped art to arrive by November 4, 2025 or earlier (but not before October 31) and include a prepaid return shipping label inside your package. - Event dates - o Exhibition opens November 6, 2026 Opening Reception 5-8pm o Exhibition closes December 16, 2026 - Artwork pick up- Return shipping, ASAP after close of exhibition - Thursday pick up, December 17, 10am – 7pm - Friday pick up, December 18, 10am – 4pm - Saturday pick up, December 19, 10am – 2pm
