Contemporary Dance Project And Butoh Role With OFFTANZ Tirol Sep 23, 2026 | Auditions A paid opportunity for contemporary dancers and interns, and a predefined Butoh role, for a new project by Offtanz Tirol (choreographer Emmanuelle Vinh) in Innsbruck. Where: Innsbruck, Austria When: Rehearsals: 5 October – 8 November 2026  Performances: 9–15 November 2026 (3–4 shows)  Butoh role: 2–15 November 2026 (3–4 shows) Deadline for applications: 27. September 2026, 23:59 (Innsbruck local time) We are looking for a dancer (all genders) or an intern for a project by choreographer Emmanuelle Vinh, produced by OFFTANZ Tirol in Innsbruck. Strong contemporary technique, a familiarity with classical technique, and strong improvisational skills are required. All ages are welcome. The rehearsal period runs from 5 September to 8 November, followed by 3–4 performances during the week of 9–15 November. Professional dancers receive a fee of 2,800 €. Interns (dance students) receive 600 € for the internship period – We are also looking for a Butoh dancer (all genders), or someone with solid experience in Butoh, for the period of 2–15 November (3–4 performances). We particularly welcome dancers with a mature stage presence and extensive life or artistic experience. This is a predefined durational role with a minimal creative rehearsal phase. While the choreographic action is minimal, full availability during rehearsal hours is required. The fee is 1400€. We offer a travel reimbursement of up to 150 €. Accommodation is provided. Due to our limited accommodation budget, the number of performers we can host is restricted. If you have the possibility to stay in Innsbruck independently, please mention this in your application. There will be online interviews for applicants we would like to get to know further on Tuesday 29th (between 15:00 – 21:00 – Innsbruck local time).
