Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance Teacher Training | Leeds Sep 3, 2026 | Dance Programs Train to become a Rambert Grades Trained Teacher in Leeds this autumn at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Where: Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds, UK When: 29 September – 24 November 2026 – Tuesday evenings Deadline for applications: 22nd September 2026 Rambert Grades is offering a rare opportunity to undertake in-person Level 1 (Grades 1–3) Syllabus Training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD). The eight-week training is designed for dance artists, educators, final-year vocational students and recent graduates looking to develop their contemporary dance teaching practice and broaden their professional opportunities. Participants will train to deliver the Technical, Creative and Performance Strands across Grades 1–3, including repertoire by internationally recognised choreographer Hofesh Shechter. Training will be led by Hannah McGlashon, Artist of Phoenix Dance Theatre and Rambert Grades Delivering Artist. Dates: 29 September – 24 November 2026 (excluding 27 October) Day/Time: Tuesdays, 18:30–20:30 Location: Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds How to apply: Places are limited and booking will close once the course is full, so early application is advised. There are two steps to secure your place on the course: 1. Apply for Rambert Grades Membership Membership is required to undertake Syllabus Training. Eligible students and recent graduates can access discounted membership at £55. 2. Book your Level 1 Syllabus Training Once your membership application has been approved, you can book your place on the course.
