Contemporary Dancer Auditions In-person and Virtual – ChoreoNova Sep 20, 2026 | Auditions ChoreoNova® is very excited to invite dancers to audition on September 20th for multiple contemporary dance company projects, performances and film shoots, for 2026-2027 with performances paid. Where: TBD, Buffalo, NY, U.S. When: Late 2026 to June 2027 Deadline for applications: 12/1/2026, with applications treated on a first-come first-served basis About Us: ChoreoNova® is a professional contemporary dance company founded in Pittsburgh, PA, U.S. and now also in the Buffalo, NY area. The company believes that every human being has a story worth telling and uses contemporary dance theater to empower people through original dance performances, unique films, and signature community programming. The company features a blend of diverse dance styles, including multiple cultural backgrounds.  ChoreoNova® has been featured across NY, PA, and VA by organizations including DUMBO Dance Festival, Carnegie Mellon University, RAW: Natural Born Artists, WomenArts’ SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day, and Dogtown Dance Theatre’s Informal Series. We are looking for dancers like you who use emotion to genuinely connect with an audience. All body types, ethnicities, and genders welcome! Stipend for performances You are: technically proficient in contemporary dance experienced in improvisation and partnering reliable and fully committed liking to learn and try new things Audition Details: On: Sunday, 9/20, 3-5:30pm                                                At: Configuration Dance Theatre & School of Ballet, Room 104, 3200 Elmwood Avenue, Elmwood Commons, Tonawanda, NY, 14217 Bring: foot thongs or be prepared to dance barefoot, socks, and ballet slippers Expect: Contemporary, jazz, ballet, improv, and partnering 20-minute warm-up will be given This is NOT a full-time contract and does NOT include relocation or travel assistance to the U.S. Rehearsals will be 1-2x/week for 2-3 hours each time in Tonawanda, NY and/or Niagara Falls, NY Performance and film projects planned Thanks everyone!
