Msgr. Otto Mauer Prize 2026 Prizes and Awards just added Updated: 10 September 2026 Prizes and Awards just added Msgr. Otto Mauer Prize 2026 Updated: 10 September 2026 The 46th Msgr. Otto Mauer Prize recognises an outstanding body of work in visual art that innovatively connects artistic and social discourse, including painting, graphic art, sculpture, installation, object art and new media. Who can apply: Artists with Austrian citizenship or who have been permanently resident in Austria for at least five years. Applicants must be born in 1981 or later. Artist groups may apply, with the age requirement applying to every member. What you get: €15,000 prize money, an exhibition at JesuitenFoyer in Vienna, and extensive press and publicity. The Otto Mauer Fonds also intends to acquire a representative work by the winner. Deadline 07 October 2026
