Deadline for applications: Early-bird the 5th October 2026 Workshop: Partnering Labo These invisible zones of contact connect us, paradoxical places that are both turbulent and secure. They are spaces where dialogue and its absence coexist, where transition, transformation, and transmission occur. These “epidermic” spaces reveal what exists in the in-between. This workshop is a laboratory combining technical and choreographic skills in partnering and lifting techniques. By merging play and movement, listening and physical engagement, this somatic and acrobatic approach to partnering focuses on touch, momentum, falling, and the interplay of collision and absorption. Participants should expect work involving physical contact, lifting/partnering, and floor work. Prior experience in contemporary dance or contact improvisation (professional, semi-professional, or advanced level) is essential in order to fully engage with this work.
