ARTEMISTA Artist-in-Residency Programme Deadline: 30 Sep 2026 Country: Italy ARTEMISTA is a non-profit cultural association working in the fields of theatre, music, social projects, and environmental awareness education. It is immersed in the rural communities of Northern Italy, in the river Po Valley and the surrounding wine-growing hills of Oltrepò. ORIGIN AND LOCATION Founded in 2004 by artists from different disciplines, including music, theatre, photography, and visual arts, ARTEMISTA is based in Spessa at “Cascina Castello,” a farmhouse with buildings dating back to the XV centur, now transformed into a Cultural Centre for artistic productions and events, while maintaining some of its original farming activities.
