November Residency, Crete – To creativity and beyond Deadline: 13 Oct 2026 Country: Greece Event Horizon is a residency opportunity that offers private creative studio space for visual arts, music, literature and ecology projects. Wilderness studios for creativity. A rural retreat for production and experimentation set in 30,000 Sqm (3 hectares/8 acres) of stunningly beautiful olive grove meadows close to the sea. Event Horizon offers off-site rented accommodation. The Architect’s House and a Windmill in Neapolis Town, a Gypsy caravan in Fourni Village. Julienne Dolphin Wilding is the founder and director of Event Horizon and is available technical help, local culture, swimming and hiking guide. Duration of residency Recommend residencies are minimum 2 weeks up to 3 months. The studio space is available to all disciplines. Accommodation Event Horizon offers off-site rented accommodation. The Architects House and Windmill in Neapolis Town (7km from studio) a Gypsy caravan in Fourni Village (2km from studio). Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Event Horizon is an artist in residency opportunity and offers private creative space for the visual arts, music, literature and ecology projects.Studio / Workspace The large studio 131 Sq meter building is created from used shipping containers and is completely insulated, set in 30,000 Sqm/8 acres of private land owned by Julienne and is close to the sea. The land is primarily an olive grove at the beginning of the Havgas gorge.Fees and support The various Accommodations are charged on a daily basis. The studios are free of charge, donations are welcome. Expectations towards the artist Residents are expected to share their work in progress experiences to help promote the enterprise on Social Media or privately.
