International Women’s Day Dance Dance Festival – Live Dance Showcase Sep 16, 2026 | Open Calls Submit your work to be performed at MashUp’s 11th annual International Women’s Day Dance Festival in Los Angeles. Where: Los Angeles, CA, USA When: March 4-7 2027 Deadline for applications: October 2, 2026 We invite choreographers from all over the world to submit original work that demonstrates artistic excellence, authentic storytelling, and a unique creative voice. While the festival primarily showcases contemporary dance and contemporary-based movement, we welcome submissions from other dance genres that demonstrate exceptional artistry, innovation, and a high level of craft. Event Details Location: Los Angeles, CA (Exact venue to be announced soon!) Travel & Lodging: Please note that attendees are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements. No accommodations or reimbursements will be provided. Presentation Format: All presentations are strictly timed. Each piece must be completely finished and cannot exceed 8 minutes. The piece submitted in the video sample must be the piece that is shown at the Festival. Slight adjustments or organic evolutions of the work are accepted with explicit permission. Selected choreographers are to keep MashUp informed of how the work changes – if at all. Work-in-progress pieces are not eligible. The work is not required to be a new or world premiere.
