It is a moment that promotes connection between artists from different backgrounds and consequently the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of Printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, among others. The program is customized according to the participating artist’s goals regarding duration, outcome and focus. We offer the conditions to test possibilities and materialize ideas. On one hand, it can be a moment of transition, more connected to experimentation, research and learning new techniques; on the other hand, it can be the point of consolidation of a project translated into the production of a new body of work. Duration of residency The duration of the residency can be from 2 weeks up to 6 months. Accommodation You are free to decide if you want to stay at Aviário Studio’s accommodations or search for a place on your own. Aviário Studio has a guest house in the center of Ferreira do Zêzere and 2 km away from the studio (20min walk). If you decide to stay at Aviário Studio’s accommodations, you will be living in a shared house. The house is on the ground floor, and has one living room, an equipped kitchen, one bathroom, one toilet, three bedrooms, and outside space. There is free wi-fi at the house. All residents are responsible for their own bed-making, and for maintaining a clean and quiet house environment. We advise you to rent a car, especially if you want to enjoy what the region has to offer, because public transports here are limited or non-existent. PERMANENT CALL – Non toxic printmaking in Patagonia Deadline: 30 Apr 2027 Country: Argentina Our artist-in residence programs are designed to provide a creative and supportive environment for printmakers from all over the world who seek to immerse themselves in an atmosphere surrounded by forest and mountains that vary their colors during the four seasons of the year. We distinguish ourselves by motivating and accompanying both those who are just starting out and those who are more experienced with a contemporary approach aimed at aesthetic and technological experimentation we specialize ourselves in sustainable less toxic techniques. We create customised according to your goals and interests, allowing you to combine training with time for independent work. We are located in Villa Los Coihues, a neighborhood that maintains mountain town traditions that allow you to move around calmly and lead a simple and uncomplicated life. You will be able to connect with landscapes and sensations that will expand the perception of your senses. You will find trails that will take you around the lake, centuries-old Coihues forests, a waterfall, and viewpoints on San Martín Hill. The studio is 40 minutes by bus from the city of Bariloche, characterized by its traditional chocolate and craft beer and its varied cuisine. Duration of residency Duration: 2 weeks. Accommodation Accomodation for one or two people available: The bedroom/study with bathroom is located on the upper floor of the workshop and is accessed via a staircase. We have a double bed where two can sleep well.  Kitchen, hot water, refrigerator and washing machine. Sheets and towels are provided, as well as basic kitchen items and appliances.  Wifi available 24 hours a day.  Disciplines, work equipment and assistance We have a full equiped printmaking studio that occupies an area of 13 m2. On the upper floor is the drawing, sketching and design studio, which has a floor plan of 13 m2. It's provided with armchairs, stools and high desks of 60 x 80 cm.We provide artists with tools to carry out relief, intaglio techniques, photographic lithography and basic supplies for these processes. Paper and plates are not included but can be purchased at cost.Studio / Workspace The printmaking studio is located on the ground floor and occupies an area of 13 m2. The studio consists of an intaglio press with a 50 x 70 cm platen and equipment and materials to develop relief, intaglio, surface printmaking techniques.Fees and support We have different rates for training and improvement programs depending on the technique chosen and the duration of the course. We also offer technical assistance for the creation program. There could be an extra fee for cleaning and printing supplies in the creation program depending on the technique chosen and the amount of supplies provided. We provide artists with tools to carry out relief and intaglio techniques and basic supplies for these processes. Paper and plates are not included but can be purchased at cost. Accommodation During your stay, you will be in Villa Rosa. It is beautiful villa, inspired by the colonial architecture of Antigua, yet with a modern, beach influenced twist. It offers a spa-like retreat in a hidden corner of El Paredón. It has three beautiful bedrooms that all look out on to the pool and the palm trees beyond. It offers an open plan kitchen and lounge area full of artistic touches. It is home to a writing/art studio for guests to use or work remotely from. In 2014 a library was built in El Paredón by local non-profit La Choza Chula. Staying at Villa Rosa/Studio Luce enables us to pay $500 monthly to the librarian Mhajo, to pay her and her assistant’s salary. This enables the library to continue it’s full education programme, working with the primary school in the mornings and providing education opportunities in the afternoon when the school is closed. The Lakkos Artists Residency

Real Greece Happens in Winter! Deadline: 04 Aug 2027 Country: Greece There is no residency program. The residency is known for murals, but this depends on the weather. Of course, Crete being Crete, we get some lovely winter days that trick you into thinking spring has come early. Most artists come to stay during the hot months. What the summer guests miss is seeing how Greeks/Cretans live outside of the busy tourist season. In the colder months, Heraklion City is buzzing with the locals who are much more relaxed as it’s their downtime of the year. The residency tends to be less busy, but for those who do come (normally to escape their colder winters), it’s a much more authentic experience. A discounted offer is 150 Euros a week for dates between 04/01/2027 and 02/04/2026. Please mention this in your application. Duration of residency Minimum stay two weeks. Accommodation The residency is in a beautiful Modernist-style house located inside the five-hundred-year-old Venetian Walls of Heraklion City’s Old Town. there are two bedrooms upstairs which share a kitchen and bathroom. When those rooms are booked out there is a private apartment downstairs with its own bathroom and kitchen. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance All creatives are welcome.Studio / Workspace There are no separate studio spaces upstairs. Guests often work in the kitchen but generally in their bedrooms. The downstairs apartment has what was once the original living room for a studio.Fees and support A reduced off-season price is 190 Euros per week for one upstairs, or 250 Euros per week for a couple or the private downstairs apartment. World-class resources The world-class museums, galleries, bookshops and libraries of Rome and Naples provide additional resource material for our residents and are very easy to access. Take the train from Venafro in the morning, and be back with us in Collemacchia at night. Duration of residency This residency is offered for a minimum of two weeks. Accommodation Residents are accommodated in two comfortable houses situated a couple of minutes walk from each other. Individual residents are allocated a single-occupancy bedroom. Houses have fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, sitting rooms, and double, twin and single bedrooms. Central heating and internet throughout. Cleaning is included in cost.  Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Applications are open to all creative practitioners who engage in 'writing', such as writers, visual artists, film makers, performance artists, curators, designers, musicians, theatre-makers, and researchers who work either individually or collaboratively. Groups are welcomed.Studio / Workspace Studio spaces are located in buildings that are situated a couple of minutes walk from each other, and from accommodation. They are recently renovated and include indoor and outdoor making spaces, and desk space. Internet throughout. Small hand and power tools are available. There is also ample outdoor working space.Fees and support The residency fee is €500 per week, per person. The fee is heavily subsidised and additionally, residents receive support and informal mentoring during the residency period, and ongoing support after the residency. The Residency Programme is operated on a cost-covering basis, and is financially supported by The Museum of Loss and Renewal in order to keep fees low. There is no external funding for this project, so assistance with fees, flights, production costs or other subsistence cannot be offered. Typically, applicants source funding by applying to their national arts funding bodies, by personal fundraising, or through academic institutional support. Letters of Invitation can be provided to assist with this process. A deposit of 50% is payable within three weeks of being offered a place on the residency programme (non-refundable). The remaining balance is payable eight weeks in advance of the residency start date (or earlier depending on period between acceptance and start date). In the event that cancellation is required, residents may cancel up to a minimum of six weeks prior to their residency start date. If a resident has to end the residency early due to personal circumstances, a refund cannot not be issued. Residents are responsible for funding and organising their travel, insurances and any visa requirements particular to country of origin. Light curatorial support is available, and artists are granted full flexibility to shape their presentations. Note: our resident cat, Campari, may grace you with his presence the residency is therefore not suitable for individuals with cat allergies. Duration of residency Minimum stay: 2 weeks Maximum stay: 6 weeks Accommodation Nestled in a 500-year-old Renaissance bottega in the heart of Venice’s historic Jewish Ghetto, La Storta blends rich heritage with contemporary creativity. Its ground-floor exhibition and living space, with a large street-facing vitrine (window) opening directly to the Ghetto, is surrounded by everyday Venetian life with cafés and shops nearby – offering an authentic and dynamic environment for artists to live, work, and exhibit in the cradle of Venetian culture. The residency welcomes visual artists of all disciplines, writers, and researchers. Residents are encouraged to shape their own experience while engaging with Venice’s art scene and community. Due to a last minute cancellation we offer partially funded residency for € 900 for one week. Standard Partially funded Residency Minimum stay is two weeks. A longer stay is depends on availability Venezia Contemporanea covers 50% of €2,400 per week. Artist’s share is 1,200€ per week. Support: Basic art supply / 2 Projectors. Light curatorial support is available for exhibitions. We assist with contacts to services, printshops and exhibition attendance Not included: Flights, travel fees, Per Diem, and Art supply. We do not receive packages. Expectations towards the artist We value a warm and collaborative atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to focus on their creative work provide feed back to help us improve future programs. Artists retain full ownership and rights to their work.
