We welcome applications from all types of creative professionals, including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, musicians, performing artists, curators, researchers and those working across disciplines or in collaboration. Duration of residency 2 or 4 week residencies Accommodation The residency house includes two private studio-bedrooms (large and small) with private bathrooms and a fully equipped shared kitchen. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance We welcome applications from all types of creative prafessionals, including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, musicians, performing artists, curators, researchers and those working across disciplines or in collaboration.Studio / Workspace In the large loft type studio is a big working area, a large screen and a projector. Bedroom is on the mezzanine. A small studio is more intimate, with a shared bedroom and workspace, and is more suitable for writing or working at a desk. To get around there are bisycles and push sledges available depending on the weather. Residents can use the garden, the greenhouse and the honey produced by the KORDON bees.Fees and support – LARGE STUDIO = studio (30 sqm) + double bedroom on mezzanine (10 sqm) / €845 for an individual; €25 per day for an additional person in the same studio. – SMALL STUDIO = double studio/bedroom (17 sqm) / €715 for an individual; €25 per day for an additional person in the same studio. Included in the residency fee are sheets, towels, all detergents, water, electricity, heating, and internet access. Successful applicants will be sent confirmation of dates, guidelines and an invoice which we ask to be paid one month before the start of the residency. KORDON, for its part, deals with communication and supports the resident with the necessary help during the residency. Please note that KORDON is an artists-run residency, whose team members are available to support and share advice, but they are not always on site depending on other commitments and projects. Expectations towards the artist As this is a self-funded residency, the only expectation is that the artist works on their project during the majority of their residency. We hope that this supportive environment, without the pressure to produce, will aid creativity, experimentation and the development of new ideas. KORDON offers all creative practitioners and researches a change of pace and the space to create. The residency house, greenhouse, garden and beehives operate in collaboration with the artists-in-residence. Residents are most welcome to help with watering the plants, handling firewood or cleaning the snow when there is a need for it during the residency period. We are on an experimental life project trying to be less a consumer and work together with nature to a desired extent. UNXE SUR DIX is a dance performance project that explores incest culture as a structural and systemic phenomenon. Its aim is to give body and voice to a subject I consider essential, while offering a sensory experience. Looking especially for performers over 60 years old. Where: Théâtre de Vidy, Lausanne, Switzerland When: 28-29 November 2026 Deadline for applications: 14 November, 2026 Incest is both omnipresent and invisible in our societies. Invisible because it remains hidden, protected by a collective and institutional silence. Omnipresent because the data reveal a striking reality: according to a 2020 Ipsos survey conducted for the French association Face à l’inceste, more than one in ten people in France report having experienced incest. This represents approximately 6.8 million people in France. Behind these figures lie lives marked by profound trauma, often compounded by a lack of recognition, justice or support. In my artistic practice, I now feel the need to address these realities, not only to raise awareness but also to encourage collective reflection. My aim is to explore how our institutions, social practices and representations shape our perceptions and keep this subject in the shadows. The project seeks to question the mechanisms that make incest so difficult to name, listen to and fight against. I am looking to collaborate with a group of exactly 10 people (in reference to the statistics mentioned above). Who I am looking for: – People of all ages (18 and over), genders, backgrounds and nationalities. People over 60 are particularly encouraged to express their interest in taking part. – People with an advanced or proficient level of dance, or with substantial physical experience and the ability to memorise movement patterns in space. Depending on individual needs, the performance may include breaks and/or the option to sit on a chair. – People interested in performing in front of an audience and in supporting the message of the piece. – People available and committed to the rehearsal and performance dates. – People living in Lausanne or the surrounding area (some rehearsals will take place in half-day sessions, with corresponding pay, and we cannot cover accommodation, per diems and travel expenses). The program offers a workspace in Barcelona where artists and other professionals in the field of contemporary art can develop their practice. These talks are followed by a delicious 3-course dinner and wine prepared by our local chef. Individual mentorship in specific disciplines is available by appointment with the AiRs and residency Director Jennie Lee will is on site for personal coaching support throughout the program. Duration of residency 2 weeks Accommodation The privately owned, historic hillside estate situated in a rural area of southern Tuscany dates to the medieval age. This peaceful hamlet houses Etruscan tombs, a tower, church, and courthouse. It is an iconic Italian landscape sure to inspire. Every resident will have a private room with a work desk in one of the six historic homes. A few double occupancy rooms are available for couples or collaborators traveling together.There are many paths to walk through the olive groves and woods surrounding the property and the nearby village of Piazze has an open market, coffee bar, massage therapist, grocery, pharmacy, and other basic services.Day trips can easily be made to beautiful towns such as Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Assisi and many more.
