Residency in a private fully furnished small apartment which is unique and has character, in Dorcol historic building, built in 1921-23. (approximately 40 square meters, 4.20 m high ceilings). Living in Dorćol has its charms, it could be like living in Kreuzberg in Berlin or Manhattan in NYC. A sense of history, with retro pieces of furniture and original wooden floor, windows, doors and a fully functional kitchen for the self-catering of residents, bathroom, Cable TV, Wifi, washing machine. The space was renovated over the course of a whole year and decorated following an ‘‘eclectic luxury’’ approach that combines vintage design with contemporary art. The space is filled with original art and vintage objects sourced in galleries and antique shops across Serbia and Europe. The result is a very personal, inviting space that skillfully mixes contrasting elements with surprising results. PETIT Studio is a right place for all those who wish to have the concentrated space and time away, to think and explore what can be achieved, and to see what can emerge when in an artistically charged space away from the day-to-day thinking of their norm. Brooks International Fellowship 2027 in Tate Britain Curatorial Division, Artist Supported Studios - 5 April – 17 September 2027 Tate welcomes applications for a Fellow to contribute to the research and development of the 2028 Tate Britain Commission through the lens of artists who work with supported studios. Supported studios are organisations which enable disabled and neurodivergent artists to develop sustained professional practices through long-term studio provisions, advocacy and creative support. The Fellowship will explore how galleries, commissioned artists and supported studios can develop different forms of communication and ways of working throughout the commissioning process. It will examine how collaborative artistic practices can be documented and interpreted while remaining attentive to artistic agency, and how research generated through the commission can contribute to future institutional practice. Living and working arrangements: Fellows will live at the Delfina Foundation, London. They will work at Tate Britain but will also collaborate with colleagues across other Tate sites. The program covers the 27 European Union member states and 14 additional countries participating in Creative Europe. Eligible disciplines include theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts, and puppetry. Work primarily focused on live music or opera is excluded. Perform Europe encourages proposals involving underrepresented communities, regions, and touring routes. Each partnership must choose diversity and inclusion or the fight against climate change as its core priority and incorporate measures addressing the other priority. Sena Clara Creston is an interactive installation artist whose work focuses on the impact of light, movement, and material; and reflects our relationship with the natural in an increasingly mediated world. Creston learned to see the beauty of everything growing up in a family of artists in New York City and studying Photography and Imaging at NYU. She progressed to interactive installations, receiving an MFA in Electronic Arts from RPI. Artist residency opportunity in rural Portugal – Atlas Residency 2026/2027 Deadline: 26 Oct 2026 Country: Portugal Atlas is an artistic lab exploring the interactions inbetween nature and creativity, it is an independent studio running a studio residency. Atlas residency is an opportunity for international artists to experience the countryside within close reach to Lisbon. This new residency space emerges from the already established Euroatlas studio residency based in Lisbon, from a need to reconnect with ways of living and creating that are in touch with the environment. The space is located in the village Carvalhal of the Bombarral Municipality, next to the vibrant and historical town of Caldas da Rainha. The Atlas residency is an independent artist space, with an independent focused program opened for emerging and established artists that are looking for a place of reflection away from their usual environment and that are self-sufficient in their research. Duration of residency The residency stay for artists or groups is between one and three months. Accommodation The studio of the residency is composed of a warehouse of 200m2 with a working and living studio, own kitchen and bathroom, and a permaculture garden, designed to have fruits and medicinal plants all year round. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance It is a non-prescriptive residency program with aim of facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge among artists besides their individual research and production projects. While in residence, the artists will benefit from production time enhanced by the exchange of ideas and experiences with peers. The residency provides accommodation and living space. The residency is open for application from groups working together or single artists and the program can be multidisciplinary in the areas of visual arts, dance, theater, writing and music.Fees and support The fee per month is 1800 eur per month (solo stay at the residency) and for collectives is 1300 eur (shared stay at the residency, more than one artist at the same time, sharing studio and house). Additional cost for partners is 600 €, and children under 12 years old a fee of 300€ extra per person. Atlas does not cover accommodation or travel expenses. Kennesaw State University Choreographic Residency 2027 Aug 20, 2026 | Residencies The KSU Choreographic Residency program invites two nationally-emerging or mid-career choreographers to the Department of Dance each summer for a four-week residency to create two world premieres with the KSU Dance Company. Where: Kennesaw, GA. USA When: July 2027 Deadline for applications: 10/30/2026 Invited choreographers will audition and select dancers, preferably for ten students, for which they will create an original choreographic 30-minute group work. The residency culminates in two fully produced pieces, presented as a double bill in our state-of-the-art KSU Dance Theater. A panel of industry and university professionals will review and select choreographers. The department will announce the recipients of this residency in the spring. The residency is designed to support the creative process of emerging or mid-career artists with an emphasis on innovation and movement invention. The goal of the residency is to increase students’ access to the professional practice of dance while further enhancing and enriching their dance education at KSU. Duration of residency Our recommended residency is 2 month, 3 if you can, but we can work within a 1 month period if that is the maximum time you have. Each room is private and has its own bathroom, kitchen, lounge, patio, garden and dining are all communual. Each artist has their own private bedroom and shares a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and washroom with the other artists. Internet access, a washing machine, bed linen, and a towel are provided. We offer the Shared Studio for 160.000 ISK (≈1150€ , 1300$) per residency period (short residency is 120,000 ISK – January and December), with everything above included. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance The Residency is multi-disciplinary and open to most creative directions. The Centre is equipped with wood and metal workshops, a ceramic workshop, a printmaking workshop, a kitchen, a recording studio, and a Concert hall. Our staff is at work from 9:00 16:00 on weekdays, while residency artists have 24/7 access to the building. The staff of the Centre assists residency artists with sourcing materials and other things that they might need during their stay. The staff also gives a basic introduction to workshops and facilities, enabling artists to execute their work. Please note that we do not offer a service of a workshop technician that produces artworks for artists.
