The criteria for the wall art is to depict handmade pottery of any kind in a still life setting with or without other types of objects. Scenes of family/ friends gathering around a table would be most welcome, as well as strictly still life, including abstract pieces along the theme of table tops with/ or pottery shapes. It must be artwork intended to hang on the wall including 3D that can be hung with our hanging wire/hook system. Special Project Residency Deadline: 05 Oct 2026 Country: United States The Project 14C Special Project Residency is a short-term, intensive residency designed to help artists bring an ambitious creative project from idea to completion. Unlike Project 14C’s longer Artist Fellowships, which emphasize long-term career development and mentorship, the Special Project is fast-paced and purpose-driven, giving artists concentrated time, space, and resources to focus on a specific project. The program is multidisciplinary, bringing together artists and creative practitioners working across different fields. Residents receive generous studio space for up to 11 weeks, allowing them to immerse themselves fully in the development and realization of their work. Live/work studios are provided free of charge, with only modest fees for cleaning and utilities. Special Project residencies are offered in three sessions each year, with cohort sizes varying according to available space. The next multidisciplinary Special Project Residency runs November 20, 2026–February 7, 2027. Special Project residents become part of the larger Project 14C creative community, working alongside artists and creative practitioners from a wide range of disciplines. The residency also creates opportunities for artists to share their work with the public through open studios and other audience-facing programs, encouraging exchange between residents, fellow artists, and the wider Jersey City and New York City communities. Duration of residency 11 weeks Accommodation Special Project residents may choose between live/work accommodation and a work-only studio, depending on their needs and preferences. Artists choosing the live/work option stay in a furnished loft studio within Project 14C, allowing them to live and work in the same space and fully immerse themselves in the residency experience. Artists who already live locally often choose a work-only studio, while local artists who want a more immersive residency experience may also opt for live/work accommodation. Artists coming from outside the region may choose the live/work option for the duration of their residency. Disciplines, work equipment and assistance The Special Project Residency is multidisciplinary and welcomes artists and creative practitioners working across fields including visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, music, film, fashion, architecture, design, and interdisciplinary practices. Studios have 10–12 ft (3–3.7 m) ceilings. Depending on the artist’s preference, the residency may be live/work or work-only. Studios may be used by an individual artist or shared by collaborators working together on a project. Artists in the Library **Grants for organizations, collectives and individuals to support free community-engaged arts programming at one of the Toronto Public Library branches.** **WHAT DOES THIS PROGRAM SUPPORT?** Created in 2014 as a partnership between Toronto Arts Council and Toronto Public Library, Artists in the Library program provides paid opportunities and space for Toronto artists while increasing access to the arts in Etobicoke, York, North York, East York and Scarborough through programming in the local library branches. Funding for this program is provided by the City of Toronto.  Artists in the Library program provides funding to professional artists, arts organizations and collectives working in any artistic discipline to create and deliver free **community-engaged arts programming** at one of the branches of the Toronto Public Library. We offer a platform that facilitates and curates events, art residencies, artistic research and exhibitions. Our aim is to be a bridge connecting the arts scene in Egypt and North Africa with our international peers in a two-way exchange: creating opportunities to promote local artists globally on the one hand, whilst simultaneously bringing international artists into the fold of Egypt and North Africa’s art community. We are on an experimental life project trying to be less a consumer and work together with nature to a desired extent. Duration of residency Preferably 4 weeks (whole period). Minimum stay 2 weeks. Accommodation The house is an ‘organic’ type – this means by local standards it had been used first as a series of caves, since unkown times, and the previous owners enlarged it step by step in the directions where the rocky hillside has permitted. The residency area starts above our apartment; consisting of five rooms. Each room is separate, they do not open from each other. A shared kitchen and various terraces are at your disposal, and there are two shared bathrooms.
