Individual residency programme Deadline: 30 Sep 2026 Country: Lithuania The Kintai Arts Residency invites artists and professionals working in culture and academia fields to apply for an individual residency programme.This programme is dedicated to those seeking a quiet retreat in nature, a peaceful place to focus on various types of cultural and academia projects. Duration of residency Individual residents and collectives are welcome during April – June and September – October, 2026. Duration of a residency can vary from 1 week to 1 month. Applications must be submitted not later than one month before the chosen start date of the residency. Accommodation The Kintai Arts Residency offers accommodation in private studios with a separate bathroom and kitchenette, as well as double rooms or four-person rooms with a shared bathroom. The residency building also features a shared kitchen and a space for communal dinners. We can not be Body alone! The journey side-by-side between each c.e.m researcher is precious and fundamental in the tuning of each step and with the symphony of steps that is making itself present. We are not interested in formulas, closed methodologies, or the snobbery of “I already know”. The arrogance of claiming a place of belonging that is called “dance” inhibits the liquidity of the experience of dance as a poetry of the gesture that is born only in the experience of being-with, every day. It is necessary to walk in order to walk, to ask in order to ask, to write in order to write, to dance in order to dance, to exist in order to exist … that is what we are and we do every day. It is amazing how fast we humans go from a discovery, a tilt, a breath, a restlessness to a trivialized, “certainty” free from vibration. It is impressive how many discourses around Body that were never allowed to move through deformation, through questioning. It’s amazing how much you say Body without being body. We certainly do not bring with the Risk of Dancing the solution to these insistences of human behavior, but we bring the rigor of the daily practice of becoming Body. We follow a personalized plan based on your previous knowledge and experience. It is a moment that promotes connection between artists from different backgrounds and consequently the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Aviário Studio Artist Book Residency aims to promote the exploration and production in the Artist Book field. Artist books are consensually understood as an object that takes the shape or the dynamics of a book, and is made by an artist. There are many ways to conceive a book, and given the multidisciplinary features of Aviário Studio, it is possible to pursue very distinct paths. We offer the conditions to test possibilities and materialize ideas. On one hand, it can be a moment of transition, more connected to experimentation and research; on the other hand, it can be the point of consolidation of a project translated into the production of a new body of work. The Festival is a collaboration of the Worcester County Camera Club and the Blackstone Valley Art Association, now in our eighth year. Our exhibition of fine art painting and fine art photography will be held at the Brigham Hill Community Barn, 37 Wheeler Rd., North Grafton, Massachusetts. Work chosen for the juried in-person exhibition as well as prize winning entries will be selected by an independent panel of distinguished jurors. This app guides you through taking a series of photos of your work, combines them, removes glare (from cover glass or reflections from varnish, etc.), and gives you a nice result. Just be certain your phone/tablet camera has sufficient resolution to meet the above requirement – an iPhone 6 probably will not, but a newer phone or tablet might be fine. Early bird call for Spring Retreat 2027 – ARiR Guiniguada, Gran Canaria Deadline: 01 Oct 2026 Country: Spain Artist and Researcher in Residence programme, runs since 2019 in the Guiniguada valley of Gran Canaria, in the northern foothills, a long inhabited fertile area, not the touristic south. Separate studios, several terraces, shared kitchen and bathrooms. The house is our home, where we welcome you, we are present during the programme and support your projects. We are on an experimental life project trying to be less a consumer and work together with nature to a desired extent. Natural setting of the warm-loving forest zone, also ongoing agricultural activity. Rural as being part of a village, but very close to the capital city of Las Palmas or the town of Santa Brígida, thus well connected also via roads and public transport. Duration of residency Minimum stay 4 weeks (whole period). Accommodation The house is an ‘organic’ type – this means by local standards it had been used first as a series of caves, since unkown times, and the previous owners enlarged it step by step in the directions where the rocky hillside has permitted. The residency area starts above our apartment; consisting of five rooms. Each room is separate, they do not open from each other. A shared kitchen and various terraces are at your disposal, and there are two shared bathrooms. 2026 – Artist Residency Program – Casa de Mono Deadline: 01 Oct 2026 Country: Colombia Presentation Following the principles of our Foundation, an NGO whose activities are based on ecosophical knowledge, this Artist Residency Program is conceived as an interchange platform between the artists-in-residency projects and the different practices that take place in the Foundation’s house, the city and the region. Mainly, the kind of practices that establish relationships with the environment based on sensitivity towards the planet, the protection of life, human freedoms and respect for individual differences. This program is aimed at both artists (in a wide sense: from visual to performing arts, from music to writing) and cultural managers or agents interested in putting forward artistic projects aligned with discourses of ecological and social sustainability and, in general terms, with the knowledge and practices related to the values and objectives encouraged by Casa de Mono. Characteristics of the program Even though the program is thought of as a self-directed artist residency, Casa de Mono team will offer the residents guidance during the conceptualization, production and exhibition of the project. Given this is an urban residency program, we will coordinate activities that will allow the resident to easily adapt to the city and get to know the local artistic context. In this regard, the following activities are put forth: dérives in the city center and places of interest, visits to relevant artistic spaces, encounters with artists, different cultural agents, and, in general, people interested in the artist’s background and/or project. At the end of the residency we will schedule the socialization of the results obtained during the residency, which can take the shape of an exhibition, conference or open-studio session. In any case, the resident can propose other socialization strategies that better adapt to the nature of their project. Note: The duration of the residency doesn’t necessarily have to be dedicated to the production of an artwork to be exhibited. It can also be dedicated to planning or structuring a project. There is easy access to public transportation, marketplaces, and the most important public library in the city is just around the corner.The second floor of the house hosts the Artist Residency Program. There are six spacious and bright rooms, two of them with private bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a fan, a closet and a desk. The common spaces consist of an open kitchen and dining room, a laundry space (a patio with a washing machine and a clothes rack), and different spaces where residents can hang out or work (two balconies and a terrace). The house counts with free Internet access. Additionally, by request of the residents, it is possible to reserve a place or storage space in one of the house workshops, equipped with basic work tools. Casa de Mono’s house is also a place for taking care, admiring, inspiring on and sharing with animals. At the studio there will always be at least one person to assist and advise artists about techniques, equipment, materials and suppliers. Project discussion at the beginning of the residency and a final discussion/open studio at the end. Complementary assistance or training can be booked and has the cost of 20€ per hour.Studio / Workspace Aviário Studio is a creative playground in the countryside, right in the middle of Portugal. The building is a renovated aviary immersed in nature and just 2 km/1,24 mi away from Ferreira do Zêzere town, and 6 km/3,73 mi away from the river Zêzere.
